When I was in the second grade I decided I wanted to be a second grade teacher. I have always loved working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential.
I chose The Summit for several reasons. I, of course, wanted to teach at the best school in the city. I also believe in Catholic education with a strong focus on serving others. I was able to find all of that here! There is nowhere I would rather be.
I want to inspire children to be well rounded, educated, loving citizens of the world. I believe it is important to teach children the importance of helping others and making the world a better place for everyone. I want the children in my class to love learning and every day at school. Children should be guided by their teacher to create learning that meets their individual needs.
I spent a year doing the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working with homeless women and children. That year inspired me to always help others. I volunteer regularly at the Center for Respite Care here in Cincinnati. I have trained for a triathlon and raised money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. I am always involved in something in an effort to do my part!
I enjoy competing in Triathlons in my spare time, so I spend a lot of time swimming, biking and running.
